Jan Carlson Journey asked that Don Nielson's and Shirley Loberg Wilson's greetings to the class be placed here before we take the Christmas pages down for 2004.  Both called Jan's home while she was at the Christmas party and left a message they wanted to wish all of the class of '57 a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Don had planned on being in Manhattan for the Christmas party, but at the last minute couldn't make it from California.  And, Shirley was asked to work the 23rd, and couldn't make the party, and then was leaving for Colorado the 24th. So dear classmates, the best the holiday has to offer from two more classmates.

Also, Joe Hostetter wrote the following:  Have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.  Gigs for a trumpet player are less every year.  No New Year's Eve gig again this year.  I'm doing a bit more location recording gigs but tend to spend most of my profit on updating equipment.  It's a good thing that the way things change in technology, one spends less for more.
I hope all is well with all of you.
Joe
