Dear Classmates,
I hope you are having a wonderful time at the reunion! Husband, Lou,
conducted a wedding and a funeral this weekend and I've been involved in a
community built playground. We are building the first fully handicap
accessible playground in Georgia, on the grounds of Saint Paul's Church. It
is exciting, but a lot of work!
Don't know about the temperature there, but it's only 92 degrees here. I
expect it to warm up soon. We really enjoy living in Augusta, even though I said repeatedly I would
not live in the south. We did have to mow the grass every month except
January, though.
Truly, I wish you all well. Maybe next reunion, we'll actually be
available to travel.
God bless.

Thanks for heads up re email to reunion. Does anyone remember that Richard Cunningham wrote a book about a terrorist attack on the Lincoln Tunnel going into NYC? I read it years ago. The title was something like "Ceremony at the Lincoln Tunnel". I may have that wrong. Hope he will be at reunion. Get information on the new books he has written. My son now lives in Mission Viejo which is near Irvine. I think Richard lives in Irvine. Have a good reunion and my thanks to you for all you have done to keep this reunion going. Wished I could be there. My husband is retiring June 20 and we have to do all vacations together. Smile..... warm regards, Jean Wisecup Hesse

"to whom it may concern!"
I do not know who is responsible for this "first class" use of technology (?), but it is really well done! CONGRATULATIONS........it is marvelous and has all the info one could possibly need.
I was LOST until recently! Just moved to FLA this past year, and somehow my address updates were not current.
Thank goodness the hard working reunion folks in Manhattan managed to track me down. See you in June.

Hi Dave,
I thought I had better let you know that we won't be able to attend the reunion. Larry Bennington had sent me a reminder letter the first part of May.
John and I had made reservations to attend a National Marian Congress on June 6-9 in Alexandria SD.
I finally retired from the Immigration & Naturalization Service on Oct 31, 2001! I had been working as an Immigration Information Officer for 13 years in Lincoln NE. I enjoyed my work, but was tired of the daily commute from Crete to Lincoln especially in the winter. Retirement is great!! My husband, John is still working as a Telecommunications Dispatcher (911) for the City of Crete. We manage to see our children (5) and grandchildren (10) fairly often. Two daughters live in Iowa, one son in Crete, one son in Lincoln, one son in Texas, and one daughter-in-law in Colorado.
Tell all the classmates hello. When any of the class is traveling, if you are near to Crete please stop to see us.
May the peace and love of the Risen Christ be with each of you.

| Johnny,
It has been way too long since I emailed you. Changes and life for me have gotten in the way since your last email near Thanksgiving. Nothing earthshaking, actually good ones, but
I have just put my focus on living life everyday.
I did sit and read the hard copy of reunion pictures and loved it. It was so great to see photos of so many folks I haven't
been in contact with since the last reunion I was at. It has been ten years, when I was still living in Manhattan caring for my father. Nowadays, here in Denver, May, June, and July are months that I lead many groups and workshops. And so I will have to send my love to all my old classmates, without actually being in Manhattan for the reunion.
I do thank you for keeping up with me; it does mean a lot. If there is a video of this reunion or a hard copy newsletter, I will want
to see them, I know. So keep me posted. My best to you and Linda,
jb

Dear
Kay and Dave,
I've been involved in several
projects and preparing to accompany my daughter and her
stepdaughter to Hawaii. She's celebrating her 40th birthday and
I'm lucky enough to be included. None of us have been there
before and are pretty excited. But, I will miss seeing everyone
at the reunion. I hope it goes smoothly, and that you two will
find the time to enjoy it as much as everyone else does. It is
always a wonderful celebration. Thank you for all the work you
and your committees do.
Fondly,
Judy Wareham Lyon
