Prologue

This section of our site will hold a "snapshot" of the Millennium 2000 Reunion.  Hopefully it will provide a few memories for those who attended, and a synopsis of the events for those who couldn't.  This special Millennium 2000 Reunion section is divided into five parts, of which this page is one.  The additional four parts are listed at the bottom of this page.

Like all projects of this kind, the content is dependent upon the contributors. Pictures have been donated by several classmates, as well as friends from other classes. The descriptions are mostly the work of the editors, except as otherwise noted.

Our Sincere Thanks

First, our heartfelt thanks to the MHS Class of 1955 for inviting us to their reunion.

A giant-sized measure of "Thanks" goes to Dave and Kay Fiser, who continue to contribute their collective time and effort in seeking to make each get-together a meaningful and unforgettable one for all. Given the diverse and broad range of perspectives about such gatherings, this can be a monumental and challenging task. But throughout the years Dave and Kay have made it work. The success of the Millennium reunion was, to a great degree, due to the diligent planning, dedication and plain hard work of Dave and Kay Fiser. Thanks to you both for your unselfish commitment in making these gatherings special and memorable.

A special thanks is owed to Owen Sherman who provided the entertainment Friday evening. See story at The First Day.  Owen, has also devoted considerable time in helping edit this section of the site.

The Millennium 2000 Reunion was a team effort.  The people who formed the reunion committee, and to whom we want to express our thanks are:
Carita (Clark) Otts (Class of '55), Julie and Charlie Hostetler (Class of '56), Dave Fiser (Class of '57), Janet (Krider) Duncan and Don Zahnley (Class of '58).

The Class of '55 did a superb job of putting together decorations that were tasteful, celebratory, and that carried the theme and mood of the reunion beautifully.  Special recognition for this effort can be contributed to: Carita (Clark) Otts and Pat (Prockish) Petty, with assistance from Sue Griffitt of the Holiday Inn.
